Honey pumpkin mash recipe

Butternut pumpkin makes a velvety mash in just 3 steps - a cozy family favorite.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 butternut pumpkin (about 700g), peeled, seeded, cut into 4cm pieces
  • 57.20 gm honey
Instructions:
  • Place the pumpkin in a large saucepan and add enough water to cover by 2.5cm. Bring to a high simmer, then reduce heat to medium and cook for 20-25 mins until very tender.
  • Drain using a colander and place it on the hot saucepan to steam the pumpkin until dry.
  • Blend the drained pumpkin and honey in a food processor until silky smooth.
