Delicious and versatile cookies made with real butter, can use margarine. Swap wheat germ for wheat bran. Kid-approved guilt-free treat!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 0.5 cup natural peanut butter
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sifted whole wheat flour
  • 0.5 cup dry milk powder
  • 0.5 cup wheat bran
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect temperature to bake your dish.
  • Combine smooth butter, creamy peanut butter, sweet honey, a fresh egg, and aromatic vanilla in a medium bowl. Add in whole wheat flour, dry milk powder, wheat bran, and baking soda. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the peanut butter mixture. Use a teaspoon to drop the dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes until the edges start to brown. Then, transfer to wire racks to cool.
