Slow cooker spiral ham with honey-cinnamon-mustard glaze for juicy, flavorful ham.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 pound) spiral-cut ham, or more to taste
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.33333334326744 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon water
Instructions:
  • Coat the slow cooker insert with cooking spray and nestle the ham inside.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt together honey, brown sugar, mustard, cinnamon, and nutmeg while whisking continuously for 2 to 5 minutes until fully combined. Remove from heat.
  • First, gently fill the bottom of your slow cooker with water to create a moist cooking environment. Next, generously drizzle the sauce over the ham, ensuring it's fully coated with flavor. Lastly, cover the slow cooker to let the magic happen.
  • Slow cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours, generously basting the ham with the flavorful juices every hour.
  • Take out the ham from the slow cooker. Transfer the flavorful juices into a saucepan over medium heat. Combine cornstarch and water in a bowl and add to the saucepan. Cook until it forms a thick and glossy glaze, which should take about 6 to 8 minutes. Drizzle this delectable glaze on the ham or use it as a savory gravy.
