Delicious honey garlic pork chops for a simple weeknight dinner.
Ingredients:
  • 5 (1-inch thick) boneless pork chops
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup honey
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 dash cayenne pepper, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Season the pork chops generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering. Brown the pork chops for 3 to 4 minutes on each side until golden. Transfer the seared pork chops to the prepared baking dish.
  • Combine the honey, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, and butter in a bowl, then drizzle the mixture over the pork chops in the baking dish.
  • Bake the pork chops in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, then allow them to rest in the baking dish for an additional 5 minutes to absorb the flavorful juices.
  • Present the pork chops with a generous drizzle of the delicious sauce on top.
