Quick and tasty honey-garlic pork chops ready in 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 4 (5 ounce) pork chops
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
Instructions:
  • Position an oven rack 6 inches away from the heat source and preheat the broiler.
  • Season both sides of the pork chops generously with a flavorful blend of salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • In a hot oven-safe skillet, sear pork chops until golden brown and fully cooked, about 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Keep warm on a plate.
  • Reduce heat to medium and melt butter in the pan juices, scraping up any browned bits. Stir in garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add honey, water, and vinegar. Increase heat to medium-high and simmer until sauce slightly thickens, about 3 to 4 minutes. Place pork back in the skillet and generously baste with the sauce.
  • Place the skillet under the broiler and broil until the pork chop edges are slightly charred, for about 1 to 2 minutes.
