Tender baked chicken in a delicious honey-mustard glaze, with option to use thighs.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons canola oil
  • 3 tablespoons honey mustard
  • 4 teaspoons honey
  • 2 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh chives
  • 1.5 teaspoons dried basil
  • 2 teaspoons adobo seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon meat tenderizer
  • 2 chicken leg quarters with skin
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) to ensure the perfect cooking temperature.
  • In a bowl, mix together oil, honey mustard, and honey until fully incorporated. Add garlic, paprika, chives, basil, adobo seasoning, onion powder, and meat tenderizer, and stir until well combined.
  • Spread 2 to 3 tablespoons of zesty mustard sauce on the bottom of a glass baking dish. Lay the chicken legs on top and generously coat with the remaining sauce. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
  • Roast in the oven until the chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear, usually taking 60 to 75 minutes. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F (74 degrees C) when checked with a thermometer near the bone.
