Delicious pie with orange marmalade, walnuts, honey, and cranberries in a cookie crust. Topped with whipped cream for a flavorful treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 3/4 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup orange marmalade
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 cup dry white wine or apple juice
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 3 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
  • Whipped cream, if desired
  • Orange peel curl, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine all crust ingredients in a medium bowl until a dough forms. Press the dough onto the bottom and 1 1/2 inches up the sides of an ungreased 9-inch springform pan.
  • Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until the crust is lightly golden and set. Allow to cool for 10 minutes. Spread marmalade on the bottom of the cooled crust and sprinkle with walnuts.
  • Place gelatin over cold water in a 3-quart saucepan and let sit for 5 minutes until softened. Mix in wine, honey, and cranberries. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and cool for about 30 minutes until completely cooled.
  • Drizzle the cranberry mixture over the walnuts in the crust. Chill in the refrigerator for a minimum of 4 hours. Loosen the edges of the tart with a knife, remove the pan, and serve with whipped cream.
