Savory sage biscuits on top of a comforting turkey casserole.
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 2 tablespoons Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 2 cups cut-up cooked turkey
  • 1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (1 ounce)
  • 2 medium celery stalks, sliced (1 cup)
  • 2 medium green onions, sliced (1/4 cup)
  • 2 1/4 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried sage leaves
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 425°F. Combine mayonnaise and 2 tablespoons of Bisquick mix in a medium bowl until fully mixed. Gently fold in turkey, cheese, celery, and onions. Set aside.
  • Combine 2 1/4 cups of Bisquick mix, milk, and sage until a soft dough forms. Transfer the dough onto a Bisquick mix-dusted surface, gently coat with more mix, and knead 10 times. Roll out to 1/2 inch thickness and use a 1 1/2-inch round cutter dipped in Bisquick mix to cut out circles. Arrange closely around the edges of an ungreased 9x9x2 inch square pan.
  • Evenly distribute the turkey mixture onto the center of the biscuits. Bake without covering for 18 to 20 minutes until the biscuits turn golden brown and the mixture is heated through.
