Decadent chocolate cake with moist texture, topped with rich chocolate frosting.
Ingredients:
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 0.5 cup buttermilk
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and prepare a 9x13 inch pan by greasing and flouring it. Combine sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl, then set aside.
  • Bring a pot of butter and water to a boil, then remove from heat. Mix in the flour mixture, followed by buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla. Stir well until fully combined.
  • Transfer the cake batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake in a preheated oven for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Once baked, promptly frost the cake.
