How to make the perfect omelette

Become an omelette pro with this versatile three-egg recipe. Customize with your favorite fillings for a quick and delicious meal.
Ingredients:
  • 3 eggs
  • 20g butter
Instructions:
  • Whisk or fork eggs gently until mixed. Season with salt and pepper.
  • In a 20cm non-stick frypan over medium-high heat, melt butter until it foams. Add the egg and swirl the pan to spread it out. Gently stir with a spatula, pushing the cooked edges towards the center and letting the uncooked egg flow to the edges.
  • Allow the egg to gently set for about 30 seconds until it's soft but not runny. Add fillings along the center of the omelette, then use a spatula to fold one side over the fillings. Slide the omelette onto a warmed plate fold-side down. If desired, sprinkle with grated cheese or parmesan before serving immediately.
