Homemade delicious iced coffee - skip the cafe!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups ground coffee
  • 12 cups water
  • Sugar, if desired
  • Whipping (heavy) cream, if desired
Instructions:
  • Brew 1 cup of ground coffee with 6 cups of water to make medium-strength coffee; let it cool.
  • Transfer the mixture into 3 to 4 ice-cube trays and freeze for a minimum of 4 hours, but not exceeding 24 hours.
  • Brew a flavorful pot of coffee by using the last cup of ground coffee with 6 cups of water. Fill a pitcher with coffee cubes and pour in the freshly brewed coffee. Add sugar and cream to taste before serving.
