Mouthwatering 40-minute Impossibly Easy pie with mushrooms, Swiss cheese, and lean ground turkey. Inspired by Cheeseburger Pie, packed with burger flavor using Montreal seasoning. Elevate your weeknight dinner with this delicious, low-calorie meal in a pie plate.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 lb ground turkey (at least 90% lean)
  • 1 1/2 cups mushrooms, sliced (about 5 oz)
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • 1 teaspoon Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese (4 oz)
  • 1/2 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F and generously coat a 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray.
  • In a 10-inch skillet, sauté turkey, mushrooms, and green onions over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes until the turkey is cooked through. Mix in the seasoning, then transfer the mixture to a pie plate and top with 1/2 cup of cheese.
  • Combine Bisquick™ mix, milk, and eggs in a small bowl and mix until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a pie plate.
  • Bake for 22 to 25 minutes until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup of cheese and let it stand for 5 minutes. Add more green onions for extra flavor, if desired.
