Easy and tasty one-pan sausage and egg breakfast bake.
Ingredients:
  • 1 package (12 oz) bulk pork sausage
  • 1 small bell pepper, chopped (1/2 cup)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen shredded hash brown potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
  • 1/2 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 eggs
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F and generously coat a 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray.
  • Cook the sausage, bell pepper, and onion in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes until the sausage is no longer pink. Remember to stir occasionally. Once done, drain any excess liquid. Combine the sausage mixture with the potatoes and 1/2 cup of cheese before spreading the mixture in a pie plate.
  • Combine Bisquick mix, milk, pepper, and eggs in a medium bowl until well blended, then transfer the mixture into a pie plate.
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, then sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese. Bake for an additional 1 to 2 minutes until the cheese is melted. Allow it to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
