Enhance peanut butter cookies with Betty Crocker® mix for a delightful treat!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Double Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup marshmallow creme (from 7-oz jar)
  • 1 bag (10 oz) peanut butter chips (1 2/3 cups)
  • 2 tablespoons shortening
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare cookie dough with oil, water, and egg as instructed on the package. Bake according to package directions, then allow to cool completely.
  • Spread a generous teaspoon of fluffy marshmallow creme on half of the cookies. Sandwich them with a second cookie, bottom side down, and press together gently.
  • Melt the peanut butter chips and shortening in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, until smooth. Spread about 2 teaspoons of the peanut butter mixture over each cookie, using the back of a spoon to cover the top and sides. Allow the cookies to set on waxed paper for about 30 minutes.
