Make homemade Honey-Garlic Chicken in your Instant Pot® for a spicy-sweet takeout favorite. Skip the sriracha for a milder version.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 0.33333334326744 cup honey
  • 0.33333334326744 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 pounds chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 0.25 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 0.25 cup chicken broth
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, or as desired
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, ketchup, and sriracha sauce until well combined; set aside.
  • In a spacious bowl, coat the chicken pieces with cornstarch by tossing them together.
  • Preheat Instant Pot® on Saute mode, add oil, then cook half the chicken for 5 minutes, flipping halfway. Transfer to a plate and repeat with remaining chicken. Deglaze pot with chicken broth for 2 minutes. Turn off heat, add chicken back to pot, pour honey mixture over chicken, and stir to coat.
  • Seal the lid securely and set to high pressure following the manufacturer's guidelines; cook for 2 minutes. Let pressure build for 10 minutes.
  • Carefully quick-release pressure following manufacturer's instructions for about 5 minutes. Remove lid and serve chicken garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
