Instant Pot® cooks sweet, sticky, and savory shrimp from frozen with a hint of heat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound frozen large shell-on shrimp
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 0.33333334326744 cup soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha sauce
  • 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions:
  • Pour 1 cup of water into a multi-functional pressure cooker and add a steamer basket. Arrange frozen shrimp in the steamer basket, then lock the lid. Select high pressure per manufacturer's instructions and set the timer for 0 minutes. Allow 10 minutes for the pressure to build.
  • Prepare the sauce by whisking together cornstarch and cold water until smooth, then stir in soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, oil, and Sriracha sauce until well combined.
  • Carefully release pressure using the quick-release method per manufacturer's guidelines for about 2 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid, then set the shrimp aside after removing the steamer basket. Drain the pot of water.
  • Preheat Saute function. Add sauce to the pot and simmer until thickened, around 2 minutes. Turn off Saute function. Mix in shrimp until well covered. Serve on plates and sprinkle with green onions.
