Instant Pot Baby Back Ribs: Spice-rubbed pork ribs pressure cooked to tender perfection, glazed with BBQ sauce for irresistible stickiness.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 rack baby back pork ribs
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 0.25 cup barbeque sauce, or as needed
Instructions:
  • In a small bowl, mix together kosher salt, brown sugar, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and black pepper.
  • Cut the rack of ribs into 4 equal portions, then generously coat all sides of each piece with the flavorful spice mixture.
  • In a multi-functional pressure cooker, add broth and arrange ribs in a teepee shape. Secure the lid, set to high pressure for 30 minutes per manufacturer's guidance, and wait for pressure to build for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil.
  • Carefully release pressure following manufacturer's instructions for about 5 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid, then transfer the ribs to the prepared baking sheet. Brush ribs on all sides with barbeque sauce.
  • Place in the preheated oven for 7 minutes. Then, flip the ribs and bake until the meat easily pulls away from the bone, approximately another 7 minutes. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure the center reaches 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
