Instant Pot Ribs from Frozen

Quickly make flavorful hickory smoked baby back ribs in the Instant Pot, then broil with barbecue sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons hickory smoke seasoning (such as Savory Spice® Red Rocks)
  • 1 rack frozen baby back ribs, membrane removed and cut into 4 slabs
  • 0.25 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions:
  • Add water to an Instant Pot and place the trivet inside.
  • Generously season frozen ribs with hickory smoke seasoning, then place on the trivet. Seal the lid securely.
  • Follow the manufacturer's instructions to select high pressure and set the timer for 45 minutes. Allow for 10 to 15 minutes for the pressure to build up.
  • Allow the pressure to release naturally following the manufacturer's instructions for about 15 minutes, then unlock and remove the lid.
  • Preheat the oven broiler with the oven rack positioned 6 inches from the heat source.
  • Place the ribs on a rimmed baking sheet and generously brush them with barbecue sauce. Broil for 4 to 5 minutes until the ribs are perfectly glazed.
