Instant Pot Bone Broth: Rich and Easy Homemade Beef Broth Using Saved Bones.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds frozen beef bones
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, quartered
  • 5 cloves garlic, whole
  • 6 cups boiling water
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 10 whole black peppercorns
Instructions:
  • Prepare all ingredients and preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and coat with cooking spray.
  • Arrange the beef bones, carrots, celery, onion, and garlic on the baking sheet.
  • Roast until beautifully browned in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  • After roasting the bones and vegetables, transfer them to a multi-functional pressure cooker like Instant Pot. Pour in boiling water and add bay leaves, vinegar, sea salt, and peppercorns. Seal the lid securely. Choose the Manual function and set the timer for 120 minutes following the manufacturer's guidelines. Let the pressure build for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Follow the manufacturer's natural-release method for 10 to 40 minutes. Unlock the lid, remove and discard bones and vegetables. Line a strainer with cheesecloth over a large bowl, then strain broth, discarding solids.
  • Cool the broth and skim off the fat layer.
