Instant Pot Beef Tips: Effortlessly tender beef cooked with mushrooms, rich broth, and red wine in just over an hour.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound beef sirloin tips
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 6 button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 0.5 cup red wine
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, toss beef tips with a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Add flour and mix well to coat evenly.
  • Preheat a multi-functional pressure cooker, like an Instant Pot, using the Sauté function. Heat olive oil in the pot and brown the beef tips for about 3 minutes. Transfer the browned beef to a bowl and set aside.
  • Sauté onions and mushrooms in a pot for 1 minute. Pour in broth, wine, and Worcestershire sauce; scrape off the browned bits. Add back beef tips, stir well. Top with condensed soup without stirring.
  • Seal and secure the lid, choose high pressure as per manufacturer's guidelines, then set the timer for 25 minutes. Give it 10 minutes to build pressure.
  • Release pressure using the quick-release method following manufacturer's instructions for approximately 5 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid, then allow the gravy to thicken for about 10 minutes.
