Effortlessly create creamy mashed potatoes in an electric pressure cooker with indulgent cream cheese and milk.
Ingredients:
  • 6 russet potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 0.25 cup cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • In a multi-functional pressure cooker, like an Instant Pot, set up the steamer and add 1 cup of water. Place the potato chunks in the steamer, close, and secure the lid. Choose the Rice function and set the timer for 10 minutes. Let the pressure build for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • After allowing the pressure to naturally release for 10 to 40 minutes as per manufacturer's instructions, carefully unlock and remove the lid. Introduce 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon of cream cheese and milk into the pot, then use an electric hand mixer or potato masher to mash the ingredients. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
