Delicious homemade tomato spaghetti sauce, perfect for any pasta, made quick and easy in the Instant Pot.
Ingredients:
  • 2 yellow onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 1 celery stalk, chopped
  • 3 pounds plum tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat the Instant Pot using the Saute function. Sauté onions and garlic in olive oil until soft and translucent, around 5 minutes. Add carrot, celery, and tomatoes; cook until tender, about 4 minutes. Season with oregano, Italian seasoning, salt, basil, and pepper. Seal the lid, set to high pressure for 25 minutes following the manufacturer's guidelines, and allow pressure to build for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Allow the pressure to naturally release for 10 to 40 minutes following the manufacturer's instructions. Remove the lid and use an immersion blender to achieve your preferred consistency.
