"Instant Pot meal with smoky sausage, bacon, and beans - guaranteed to have everyone asking for seconds!"
Ingredients:
  • 2 medium onions, diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 (15 ounce) cans navy beans, drained
  • 2 pounds sliced smoked sausage
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 1 (2.5 ounce) package real bacon bits
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.25 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Heat oil in a multi-functional pressure cooker like an Instant Pot on Saute mode. Cook onion until soft, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Combine navy beans, sausage, ketchup, apple juice, bacon bits, brown sugar, cider vinegar, mustard, garlic, salt, and pepper in the pot. Seal the lid securely. Set to high pressure based on your cooker's guidelines and cook for 20 minutes, letting the pressure build for 10-15 minutes.
  • Carefully release pressure using the quick-release method following the manufacturer's instructions for about 5 minutes. Unlock and lift the lid.
  • Garnish with a generous sprinkle of sharp Cheddar cheese before serving.
