Indulge in decadent fudgy brownies topped with a creamy, liqueur-infused finish for the perfect St. Patrick's Day treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup baking cocoa
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 egg whites or 1/4 cup fat-free cholesterol-free egg product
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 1 tablespoon light Irish cream liqueur
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup frozen (thawed) fat-free whipped topping
  • 1 tablespoon miniature chocolate chips, chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and generously spray an 8x8x2 inch square pan with cooking spray.
  • Combine granulated sugar, flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl, then set aside. In a separate small bowl, mix the remaining brownie ingredients together. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir just until everything is combined. Spread the batter evenly in the pan.
  • Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool for at least 30 minutes on a wire rack.
  • In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon liqueur. Gently fold in whipped topping. Spread the mixture evenly over the cooled brownies and top with chopped chocolate.
