Create a delicious Italian stuffed toast by layering prosciutto, fontina cheese, and giardiniera between bread slices. So tasty and simple!
Ingredients:
  • 2 slices prosciutto
  • 2 slices fontina cheese
  • 4 slices thinly sliced sandwich bread
  • 0.25 cup chopped giardiniera (pickled Italian vegetables)
  • 2 hot pickled peppers
Instructions:
  • Preheat a panini press following the manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Layer the prosciutto and fontina cheese on top of a slice of bread, then add half of the giardiniera on each. Top with another slice of bread to make two delicious sandwiches.
  • Grill each panino in the press until the cheese is gooey and the bread is golden, for approximately 3 minutes. Accompany with spicy pickled peppers.
