Create quick and delicious Italian rustic bread sandwiches filled with cheese, salami, prosciutto, and red onions for a taste of Italy in no time!
Ingredients:
  • 1 uncut loaf (1 lb) Italian peasant-style rustic bread or ciabatta bread
  • 1/3 cup rosemary-flavored or plain olive oil
  • 1/4 lb hard salami, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 lb sliced provolone cheese
  • 1/4 lb thinly sliced prosciutto
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
Instructions:
  • Slice the bread loaf in half lengthwise and generously drizzle oil over both cut sides of the bread.
  • Arrange the salami, cheese, prosciutto, and onion on the bottom half of the bread, then place the top half of the loaf on top. Cut the loaf into 4 pieces.
