Indulge in a decadent Italian love cake with layers of chocolate cake, creamy ricotta, and chocolate pudding. Easy and delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package chocolate cake mix
  • 2 pints part-skim ricotta cheese
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 (3.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
Instructions:
  • Follow the instructions on the cake mix box to prepare the batter. Grease a 9 x 13 x 2 inch baking dish and pour the batter into it. Set aside.
  • Mix ricotta cheese, sugar, vanilla, and eggs until smooth. Spread the creamy mixture evenly over the cake batter.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for 75 minutes in a glass dish or 90 minutes in a metal pan.
  • Thicken pudding mix with milk, then fold in whipped topping. Spread over cooled cake.
