Quick and savory baked ravioli with Italian sausage, tomatoes, chicken broth, basil, and spaghetti sauce - perfect for a busy weeknight.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound bulk Italian sausage
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1.25 cups beef broth
  • 0.25 cup zesty Italian-style salad dressing
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 2 (9 ounce) packages cheese ravioli
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, sauté Italian sausage until golden and crumbly, about 5 to 10 minutes. Drain excess grease. Stir in spaghetti sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Italian dressing, and sugar until blended. Remove from heat, mix in uncooked ravioli before transferring the mixture to a prepared dish.
  • Cook the ravioli in the preheated oven until tender, for 45 to 55 minutes.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top and allow it to melt. Just before serving, add a touch of fresh basil for a burst of flavor.
