Strawberry jello poke cake: a crowd-pleasing, customizable dessert!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (15.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 eggs
  • 0.33333334326744 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.25 cup cold water
  • 1 (3 ounce) package strawberry-flavored gelatin mix (such as Jell-O®)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 (8 ounce) container whipped topping (such as Cool Whip®)
Instructions:
  • Collect the ingredients, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C), and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix cake mix, water, eggs, and oil with an electric mixer on low speed until moistened. Increase speed to medium and beat for 2 minutes. Pour batter into the baking pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 24 to 29 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely for at least 30 minutes.
  • In a bowl, pour cold water and sprinkle gelatin mix over it. Allow it to soften for about 1 minute. Add boiling water and stir continuously until gelatin granules are fully dissolved.
  • Use a fork to create holes all over the cake. Pour the gelatin mix into the holes. Chill the cake until the gelatin is set, for 1 hour or up to 6 hours.
  • Generously dollop whipped topping over the entire surface of the cake.
  • Savor every delicious bite!
