Exciting twist on Korean beef short ribs with a flavorful marinade of soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and garlic.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 0.75 cup soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 5 pounds beef short ribs
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, mix sugar and soy sauce until sugar completely dissolves. Add sesame oil, garlic, green onions, and sesame seeds, and whisk into the soy sauce. Place short ribs in a large sealable bag, pour marinade over the meat, and marinate in the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight.
  • Preheat the outdoor grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grate. Take the ribs out of the bag and dispose of the marinade.
  • Grill the short ribs until they are well-charred and reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees F, about 15 minutes per side.
