Crispy baked kale seasoned with sherry vinegar for a wholesome snack.
Ingredients:
  • 1 bunch kale
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil, divided
  • 1 tablespoon sherry vinegar
  • 1 pinch sea salt, to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
  • Remove and discard the ribs from the kale leaves. Tear the leaves into uniform pieces, similar in size to a small potato chip. Wash the torn kale pieces thoroughly and dry them well using a salad spinner or paper towels.
  • Add fresh kale pieces to a large resealable bag. Pour half of the olive oil into the bag, remove excess air, and seal it. Massage the bag to ensure the oil coats the kale evenly. Pour in the rest of the oil and continue massaging until all kale is coated. Sprinkle vinegar over the kale, seal the bag, and shake thoroughly. Evenly spread the kale onto a baking sheet.
  • Place in the preheated oven and bake until perfectly crisp, for approximately 35 minutes. Sprinkle with salt and serve promptly.
