Delicious BBQ asparagus bacon wraps with tangy lemon aioli - a must-try keto dish!
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 10 slices bacon
  • olive oil cooking spray
  • 1 pinch cracked black pepper
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, and garlic salt until well combined. Chill the lemon aioli in the refrigerator until you're ready to enjoy it.
  • Get your outdoor grill ready by preheating it to medium heat and give the grate a light coating of oil.
  • Group the asparagus stalks into bundles of 3 to 5, depending on their thickness. Wrap each bundle tightly with a slice of bacon, overlapping slightly as you wrap and tucking the ends underneath to hold securely.
  • Lay asparagus bundles in a single layer on aluminum foil. Lightly spray bundles with olive oil and sprinkle with cracked black pepper.
  • Place the asparagus bundles on the grill on a sheet of foil for 10 minutes. Flip the bundles and grill for another 10 minutes until the bacon is crispy. Serve alongside lemon aioli.
