Savor the flavors of a cheeseburger in this easy keto casserole with pantry staples.
Ingredients:
  • 1 teaspoon butter, or as needed
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 0.5 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic cloves, pressed
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, divided
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons diced dill pickles
  • 0.5 tablespoon mustard
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and generously grease a baking dish with butter.
  • In a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with onions until beef is cooked through and onions are soft, about 5-10 minutes. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Season with salt and pepper, then mix in 1/2 cup of Cheddar cheese until fully melted and combined.
  • Take the pot off the stove. Stir in ketchup, mayonnaise, pickles, and mustard. Pour the mixture into a buttered baking dish and sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup of Cheddar cheese.
  • Bake until cheese is gooey and bubbly, about 7 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
