Key Lime-Cream Cheese Crescents with Lemon-Raspberry Sauce

Delicious cream cheese-stuffed crescent rolls served with tangy lemon raspberry sauce, perfect for any meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.125 cup Key lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent roll dough (such as Pillsbury®
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted, or more as needed
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon sugar, or as needed
  • 0.5 cup fresh raspberries
  • 0.25 cup water, or more as needed
  • 0.125 cup white sugar
  • 3 tablespoons apricot jam
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix cream cheese, sugar, Key lime juice, and vanilla extract in a bowl using an electric mixer until smooth.
  • In an 8x8-inch baking dish, create a layer using half of the can of crescent rolls. Spread the cream cheese mixture on top of the crescent rolls. Add another layer using the remaining crescent rolls. Brush the top with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  • Bake in the oven until golden and bubbly, approximately 25 minutes.
  • As the crescents bake, gently mash raspberries in a saucepan. Mix in 1/4 cup water, sugar, apricot jam, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Simmer until velvety, adjusting consistency with additional water if desired.
  • Cool the crescents before serving them with the sauce.
