Delicious homemade kielbasa made with ground pork, lean beef, spices, brown sugar, and a touch of liquid smoke.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 8 ounces lean ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon fresh marjoram
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 0.5 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
  • 12 sausage casings
Instructions:
  • Combine pork, beef, and garlic in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, mix salt, brown sugar, pepper, marjoram, allspice, and liquid smoke. Add the seasoning mixture to the meat and knead until fully combined.
  • Stuff casings with flavorful meat mixture and chill overnight for 8 hours. Cook by boiling or grilling until internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C) as measured by an instant-read thermometer. Serve and enjoy!
