Delicious Korean BBQ ribs served in lettuce wraps with sticky rice, ideal for gatherings and cookouts.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup sriracha hot sauce, or to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced, or more to taste
  • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
  • 1 pinch Chinese five-spice powder
  • 2 pounds beef short ribs, cut 1/3-inch-thick across the bones
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, combine vinegar, soy sauce, sriracha hot sauce, and olive oil. Stir in brown sugar until dissolved. Add green onions, garlic, black pepper, sesame seeds, ginger, and five-spice powder; mix until marinade is well combined.
  • In a large resealable bag, mix the marinade with the short ribs. Squeeze out excess air, seal the bag, and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
  • Heat the grill until it reaches medium temperature and brush the grate lightly with oil.
  • Take ribs out of marinade and grill them for 6 to 7 minutes. Flip the ribs and generously spoon the marinade over the second side, cooking until meat is no longer pink, about 6 to 7 minutes. Increase grill heat to high and grill each side for 1 minute more. Once done, take ribs off the heat and transfer to a plate. Allow them to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
