Indulge in cozy homemade winter fruit crumbles for a delightful treat.
Ingredients:
  • 500g frozen mixed berries
  • 13.20 gm vanilla essence
  • 32.00 gm brown sugar
  • 50g butter, chilled, chopped
  • 45.00 gm firmly packed brown sugar
  • 62.50 ml plain flour
  • 100.00 gm rolled oats
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced).
  • Create a classic crumble topping by gently rubbing the ingredients together in a bowl until a crumbly texture forms.
  • In a bowl, mix together berries, vanilla, and sugar. Layer half of the mixture in a 20cm (base) pie dish that is 4cm deep. Sprinkle half of the topping over the berries. Repeat with the remaining berries and topping. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Allow it to cool for 5 minutes, then serve with cream, custard, or ice cream.
