Turkish delight berry trifle recipe

Indulgent layered dessert with berries, custard, jam rolls, mascarpone, and Turkish delight - ideal for any gathering.
Ingredients:
  • 3 x 9g sachets lite vanilla berry jelly crystals
  • 250g strawberries, halved
  • 125g raspberries
  • 2 x 250g tubs mascarpone
  • 1/2 x 900g double thick vanilla custard
  • 250g packet jam mini rolls, cut into 1cm thick slices
  • 3 tsp rosewater
  • 300ml pure cream
  • 53.75 gm caster sugar
  • 4.40 gm vanilla extract
  • 100g Turkish delight, sliced
  • 62.50 ml pomegranate seeds
Instructions:
  • Follow the instructions on the jelly packet and pour into a 4-liter glass trifle dish. Chill for 2 hours until slightly thickened. Add berries and refrigerate for 4 more hours until fully set.
  • In a large bowl, combine half of the mascarpone until smooth. Gently mix in the custard. Spread the custard over the jelly layer. Arrange jam mini roll slices on top and drizzle with 1 teaspoon rosewater.
  • With an electric mixer, whip together cream, sugar, vanilla, remaining mascarpone, and rosewater until soft peaks form. Be careful not to overmix. Gently spread the cream mixture over the slices of jam mini rolls.
  • Top with exotic Turkish delight and vibrant pomegranate seeds. Present beautifully.
