Indulge in rich layers of peanut butter cookie with creamy filling and chocolate frosting.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ peanut butter cookie mix
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons milk
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup butter
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and generously coat the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • Combine all Cookie Base ingredients in a large bowl and mix until a soft dough forms. Press the dough into the bottom of the pan using floured fingers. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool completely for about 1 hour.
  • In a small bowl, use an electric mixer on medium speed to blend all Filling ingredients until smooth. Evenly spread the mixture over the cookie base.
  • Place all Frosting ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl and heat on High for 30 seconds. Stir until smooth. Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then spread over the filling. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until set. Cut into 9 rows by 4 rows to make bars.
