Ingredients:
  • 500g makanek (see note) or merguez sausages (see note)
  • 40.00 ml pomegranate molasses
Instructions:
  • Split sausages in half lengthwise by pressing firmly in the center and twisting to make 2 smaller sausages (or 3 smaller ones if using merguez sausages). Cut at the twist with kitchen scissors. Repeat with remaining sausages.
  • Heat a grill or barbecue to medium heat. Grill sausages for 8 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through. Place sausages in a bowl, drizzle with pomegranate molasses, and mix well.
  • Arrange the makanek on a platter and serve promptly.
