Transform leftover Halloween candy into a luscious apple crisp featuring warm cinnamon and crisp golden delicious apples.
Ingredients:
  • 4 Golden delicious apples, cut into1/4-inch-thick slices
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • Dash salt
  • 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • 10 bars (fun-size) leftover Halloween candy of your choice, chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Toss apples with granulated sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and salt in a medium bowl until fully combined. Transfer the mixture to an ungreased deep oval baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  • Combine flour, brown sugar, and butter in a small bowl until it forms a crumbly mixture. Sprinkle over the apple mixture and top with chopped candy.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until bubbling around the edges and the top is golden brown. Allow to cool briefly before serving.
