Transform leftover Halloween candy into delicious blondies for the whole family to enjoy.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups brown sugar, packed
  • 0.5 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped chocolate candy bar pieces
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch glass baking pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, blend together brown sugar and butter. Mix in eggs and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  • In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Gently combine flour mixture with egg mixture until just incorporated. Fold in candy pieces. Transfer thick batter to the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the middle of the oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, approximately 25 minutes. Let it cool for 10 minutes before cutting.
