Transform leftover Halloween candy into delectable chocolate bar cookies.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups chopped candy bars, or more to taste
  • 2.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • cooking spray
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the candy bars, sugar, and butter until smooth. Take it off the heat and allow it to cool slightly for about 5 minutes.
  • Add the eggs one by one, mixing until smooth. Then, incorporate the flour and baking soda to form a sticky dough.
  • Refrigerate the dough until it's scoopable, for about 1 hour.
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease 2 baking sheets with cooking spray.
  • Roll 1 1/2 teaspoonful of dough into balls and space them 1 inch apart on prepared baking sheets.
  • Bake in the oven until golden and puffy, about 10-12 minutes.
