Lemon-butter pasta sauce: quick, flavorful, customizable with meat and veggies.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups bow-tie pasta (farfalle)
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 0.25 cup chicken broth
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 0.25 teaspoon oregano
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried basil
  • 0.25 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 pinch salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Prepare all your delicious ingredients.
  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta, stirring occasionally, until al dente, about 12 minutes; then drain.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add chicken broth, lemon juice, oregano, basil, and garlic to the melted butter. Simmer on medium-low heat until the desired thickness is reached, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Season the sauce generously with salt and pepper, then combine the cooked pasta with the buttery sauce until evenly coated.
