Try our zesty lemon dill popovers made with Gold Medal® flour for a flavorful twist on traditional bread.
Ingredients:
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated lemon peel
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 450°. Grease a 6-cup popover pan or six 6-ounce custard cups generously with shortening. In a medium bowl, lightly beat eggs, then mix in remaining ingredients until smooth (avoid overmixing).
  • Fill cups halfway and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Lower the oven temperature to 350° and bake for an additional 20 minutes until a deep golden brown. Remove from the cups immediately and serve hot.
