Delicious lemon pepper chicken wings with a zesty twist, coated in peanut oil and pearl onions for a flavorful meal.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups peanut oil, or as needed
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
  • 6 pearl onions
  • 16 chicken wings
Instructions:
  • Warm up the oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Combine butter and zesty lemon pepper seasoning in a spacious bowl, whisking until well blended.
  • Cook the onions in the fragrant, preheated oil until they begin to turn golden brown, approximately 5 minutes. Discard the cooked onions.
  • In batches, fry wings in oil until golden and cooked through, approximately 8 minutes. Transfer wings to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
  • Coat wings thoroughly with zesty lemon pepper mix. Place back on paper towel to remove any extra moisture.
