Enhance beef steaks with butter, garlic, and herbs for a satisfying and effortless meal.
Ingredients:
  • 4 beef sirloin or rib eye steaks, 1 inch thick (about 2 lb)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh or 1 tablespoon dried basil leaves
  • 2 teaspoons lemon-pepper seasoning
  • 2 medium bell peppers (any color), cut lengthwise in half, seeded
Instructions:
  • Coat the grill rack with a thin layer of vegetable oil and preheat the grill with either coals or gas for direct heat.
  • If needed, trim fat on beef steaks to 1/2-inch thickness. Sprinkle beef with garlic salt. Combine butter, basil, and lemon-pepper seasoning in a small bowl, then brush over beef and bell pepper halves.
  • Grill beef and bell peppers over medium heat for 12 to 16 minutes, flipping once, until beef is cooked to your liking. Brush steaks with butter mixture. Slice bell peppers into strips and serve them over the beef.
