Linguine with chilli tuna and broccolini

Whip up this quick and delicious pasta dish in no time!
Ingredients:
  • 2 bunches broccolini, roughly chopped
  • 500g linguine
  • 370g canned tuna in chilli oil
  • 60ml olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 125.00 ml basil leaves
  • 1 tsp dried red chilli flakes
  • 35g parmesan
Instructions:
  • Blanch broccolini in a generous amount of boiling salted water for just 2 minutes.
  • Using a slotted spoon, remove the vegetables from the boiling water, then cook the pasta in the same water following the instructions on the packet.
  • Drain the tuna, saving 2 tablespoons of chili oil. In a deep frypan over medium heat, heat the reserved chili oil and olive oil. Saute garlic until fragrant for about 1 minute. Stir in basil and cook for an additional 10 seconds.
  • Take the pan off the heat and mix in the broccolini. Add the tuna and delicately stir to ensure the tuna pieces remain whole.
  • After draining the pasta, transfer it to a spacious bowl. Mix in the tuna, chili flakes, Parmesan, and sea salt to your liking. Combine everything delicately before serving.
