Garlicky linguini with clam sauce - a simple and delicious Italian meal using canned clams, butter, oil, parsley, and basil.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package linguini pasta
  • 2 (6.5 ounce) cans minced clams, with juice
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 0.25 tablespoon dried basil
  • 0.5 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook linguine until al dente, around 11 minutes. Drain.
  • Combine clams, juice, oil, butter, parsley, basil, garlic, and pepper in a large saucepan. Cook over medium heat until boiling while the pasta is cooking.
  • Drizzle the hot clam sauce over the pasta.
