Indulge in cheese and bacon-stuffed burgers paired with ultimate loaded mashed potatoes for a mouthwatering meal!
Ingredients:
  • 2 lb extra-lean (at least 90%) ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 6 cubes (1 inch) American cheese (about 4 oz)
  • 1/4 cup crumbled cooked bacon
  • 1 box (4.9 oz) Betty Crocker™ Ultimate loaded mashed potatoes
  • Water, butter and milk called for on potato mix box
  • 1 pouch Cheese Sauce (from potato mix box)
  • 6 tablespoons sour cream
  • 3/4 cup French-fried onions
Instructions:
  • Preheat your grill while you combine beef, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic salt in a large bowl. Form the mixture into 12 thin patties, each about 4 inches wide. Add a cube of cheese to 6 of the patties, then layer with bacon. Finish by topping each with another patty and pressing the edges to seal.
  • Grill the patties over medium heat, cover, and cook for 12 to 15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until a meat thermometer inserted in the center reads 160°F.
  • Prepare the mashed potatoes according to the package instructions by adding water, butter, milk, and Cheese Sauce pouch. Serve the burgers topped with sour cream and onions alongside the creamy mashed potatoes.
